Thats so cool!
Ruthlos and I have always wanted to make a haunted "path" through the woods around our house, but no one ever comes here... We haven't heard a single trick or treat in 4 years. :*( (Our street is dark, long, and sparsely populated, all the kids go to the more densely packed new neighborhoods.)

weve been doing this for 5 years now got some pictures of the vary first one we did and god does it look different varly didnt even have enough stuff to fill our 20 X 20 tent... think all together sence then weve ended up spend close to $6000 buying props and what have you and every year the lay out of it changes and improves...
If you and your husband really would like to try something like this ,, a haunted path, you could do it but be prepaired to spend at least $2000 up front for wireing lights and a basic supply of decorations, also sence your in a isulated area you can do a litle advertiseing as well call your local radio and TV station let them know what your doing and invite them out to do a story on it a day or 2 ahead also you can make up some signs and hang them on street corners in your neighborhood.. I do up some flyers ( about 500 this year) a large portion i give to a friend and he sets them out at his business for me others i hang in windows of bussiness around the area.
The only thing id heavly advise is not to get Discourage your first time ,,, the first year we did ours we had 47 people go through between the 2 nights we were open,, thats a big difference from the almost 800 people we had this year.. so in other words hun your display will get bigger and better every year as more people learn about it ,, its all about getting the word out.
