Are there any good mods I should use with War other then the channel mod mentioned previously?

When I get home, I'll see what mods I have on my computer. SOR (state of the realm) is a must if you plan to rvr.

Yup, State of Realm. I dunno how I was efficient with these guys before without it - now I dont feel like the rest of the "sheeple" across the server, lol.

I actually also have Targetring and RezTell, but since youre not a healer dont worry about reztell. Targetring, however, puts a nifty green or red "forcefield" around your selected target instead of your character ring just pointing in the direction of it. It helps me a ton either with trying to find people to help in melee healing, to rez, or when fighting a destro wb exactly where in a pack of destro that zealot is standing so I can crush his skull. And when he runs away, hes even easier to pick off. :)

I should get targetring; been thinking about it.

Here's what I have:
Autodismount (+++++) (Dismounts you automatically when you use a skill)
Healgrid (++++) (Allows you to see the whole wb much easier for heals and buffs)
State of the Realm (+++++) (Allows you to keep track of changes in rvr)
Dye (+++++) (One of my favorites, allows you to "dye" your armor to preview what dyes you actually want, dyes don't actually display in game)
Token Machine (+++++) (My number one favorite. Automatically rolls need, greed, pass on all those pesky drops during pve or rvr)
Lib Slash (+++) (Needed by other mods for them to work)
Battlpager (+++) (Helps call out targets and give % to group; a lot less typing as a raid leader)
ResTell (++++) (Must have for any healer so you can not waste resses and so players know they're being ressed and don't release.)
MobHealth (+++) (Keeps track of mobs health and even estimates it's actually total hp value; also works in rvr)
Tuatha (+++) (Daghdre made this to automatically have us join an alliance channel-still not working for me.)
Crafting Willard (+++) (Will tell you what you're making and of what quality once you place all your ingredients)

I installed pure but I cannot figure out how to move the frames. Also is there a way to shut off the default player frame when you are using it? Seems silly to have 2.

Also with warboard is there a way to shut off the default xp and renown bar as they are included on the warboard. Also can I move the little menu that is at the top to a different location or are those included in warboard?

Also with Sate of the Realm can you move it around the screen or does it have to stay in the one spot.

To get rid of default setups or windows, press esc, go to edit screen, move windows around or delete them. If things go hay wire, press the default key and all the windows will display again.

Ok i will try that to get rid of the default windows. Any ideas on moving the sor window around (state of the realm).

Also how exactly do I read that window?

Heck, just go all out and get YakUI off of Warhammer Alliance Forums... Best UI I've ever used and its loaded with great mods. Updated with each patch so far for functionality.

Thoguk, what Vamp was trying to say is what you have to do to edit your UI and they walked me through it when i needed it. Catch one of us in game and we'll do it in vent together is the easiest. You have to go into your user setting and then customize UI (third button up top to the right i think) and the actual UI windows will pop up where you can move/size/delete any or all of the overlay windows, as well as the option for all of them easily.

I have done some editing for the UI to get pure to show up correctly, however i do not see the frame for the default pet frame. I would like to either remove it or hide it somehow. I also think I will need to remove the default group one as well.

Also does pure have its own frames for the warband frames as well??

Sorry for all the noob questions.

Well I used Phantom to hide the frames which worked really well. I will have to join a warband to see how the warband frames work.

My absolute favorite is one called tidyroll. It will auto roll on almost every loot drop need or greed for you and for me works a lot better than the in game one.

the target ring is real nice too, makes it alot easier to find who your hitting in a crowd, or if your a healer to find that crazy WH who keeps running out of range and dieing.

Also if your a healer get squared.

I prefer HealGrid to Squared because I can set HealGrid to respond to click actions: Left-Click for Heal, Shift-Left-Click for HoT, Ctrl-Left-Click for Resurrect... etc.

Can Squared do that? I have not messed around with it enough to find out!... But I am wondering, why is Squared so much more popular than HealGrid?

@Eve... yeah you can have it so that left-click will just target, but shift-left-click will heal. you can configure actions for whether it is an enemy or a friendly too... I kinda like it ;-)

Yeah, with healgrid the first left click selects the target and 2nd time casts the selected spell. So, you can still click a target without casting a spell.

Other great mods,

Motion: Allows you to create and save recipes with only a few mouse clicks.

Casualties of WaR: Shows the total kill tally for both order and destruction in your current zone including details of who was killed, who was the killer, the time it happened and the general location.

JunkDump: By default, allows you to sell all trash (gray-non soulbound) items with the click of one button. Also has filters for items of all quality levels.

Paint the Leader: Places a very noticeable star above your warband leader's head.

Quick Tactic Switch: Allows you to switch out tactics by right clicking the tactic you wish to replace. Has a clean box with tactics selections only.

Here's what I'm running as a heal-specced Warrior Priest:

Auto-Dismount
Crafting Info Tooltip - extra crating info
Dammaz Kron
HammerTime - makes salvaging a lot easier
HealGrid - indispensable for healers
Motion - indispensable for tali-making
nRarity - outlines items in your inventory with their appropriate rarity color, very nice
Queque Queuer - for queuing multiple groups into the same scenario, very helpful for premades
Paint the Leader - never lose your warband leader in a skirmish again
State of Realm - best WAR mod ever; Mythic should be ashamed they didn't make this themselves
Show Health Percent - puts percentages in pretty much every health bar in the UI, very handy for assaulting doors
ResTell - tosses rez info out to chat
zMailMod - makes managing mail a little less cumbersome

Hope this helps.

I use all of the above that Mal listed.

I also use another called Group Icons. It's one of those I can't live without. If you are are in a group or WB it will place the appropriate class icon above the players head in your group or WB. If they are in your party the icon will be brightly illuminated and the others in the WB will be slightly greyed out.

I can't say enough how much this addon helps you in the massive zergs and scs if you are playing a toon that relies on a group heal or just keeping up with your WB.

I use Group Icons also, it is great in scenerios. Also as a healer I use an add-on called buff head, I don't remember seeing anyone mention it. It shows the ability and time remaining above the head of your target. It works on your offensive and defensive target. I like this because as a healer I know when to throw HoTs on people.

Another add-on which might help those who have Tyrant gear is Aura. I would have to look at how to set it up again, but every time your 5 piece ability goes off, you get an icon that pops up so you know it went off and how much time it has remaining. I used it for the Tyrant ability but I am sure you can set it for any number of things. I could look into it again if anyone would like to know more about it.
