I can no longer fool myself. I am dissatisfied with Mythic/Ea/Bioware (or whatever they are branding themselves as this quarter) and the state of Warhammer Online. I've been teetering on the edge of frustration for a couple of weeks now. I've reached the tipping point I'm sad to say.
I've just unsubscribed from Warhammer online. I hope that this action will serve a positive end. Somehow. Perhaps if enough people unsub EA will have to put some real money and effort into the game to bring us back. Then again they may just pull the plug. While that would sadden me I can't continue paying them a monthly fee in hopes that suddenly things will change for the better.
My account doesn't end until October 4th so there's plenty of time to say howdy to everyone. There's also time for Mythic to convince me that the RVR packs are more than just vaporware promises and that they are able to host a well populated server that is both fun and stable. RVR is only fun with lots of people to play with/against. Right now the server just can't handle it. Mythic seems unable, or unwilling, to communicate with us about anything other than vague promises for the future.
I don't have another game lined up. Not sure what I'll do for an MMO fix. I'll keep an eye on what the Tuatha is playing. I enjoy gaming you folks.
