Looking Forward To Something New.

By: Craythur

The Warhammer forums & blogs are are lit up like a Christmas Tree over the bits and pieces of "RVR Pack" news. While the general handling of the release info could have been better it's great to see news about the games future coming out. Happily, there does look to be a future!

It sounds like one of my Warhammer wishes are coming true. I think. Sort of. Details are a bit vague. Skaven will be playable in some form or another. Mythic has said more about how they won't work (you won't be able to level them from t1 for example) then how they will work. They wn't be the third faction miracle some of us have been hoping for. But it does look like we'll get to play Skaven somehow. Perhaps they'll be similar to LOTRO monster-play. I hope it's a bit deeper than that. I'd at least like to name my minion Crayven. I'd also like to be able to gear him up in some manner.

We'll also have another 20 rr levels to play. Craythur misses the color purple so that's all well and good. It does raise some concerns. Will RR100 people be fighting level 31 folks in T4 lakes and scenarios? Maybe there will be a T5 in some form. It's hard to imagine though. The presence of the city sieges in T4 doesn't leave much room for a t5. It seems it would have been easier to add additional T4 lakes/instances/zones than to try to expand "below or beyond" fighting towards and sacking the enemy capitol. I mean, what's more important than that? A mysterious Relic in a vast underground zone? I'm frankly very interested to see how they pull this off. That's a very good sign. I'm looking forward to what they do next. :)
