Life With No Purple

By: Korzak

Korzak Ironweaver turned RR 80 on Saturday, and after the long grind, I can say that it was quite a bit of fun, and a nice achievement to have. I've already caught myself midflight heading to zones to 'catch the flip', even though it doesn't benefit my character. It is nice, however, to not be concerned about hanging out on a BO or Keep to catch the renown.

So what have I been up to since getting Korz to 80? Well, I've got a couple alts already at 40 that I need to work on, my Engineer Tuhb (my original main, for those of you who've been aroudn that long) and my Rune Priest Lorkig. Tuhb is nearly RR 48, and after playing him a bit over the weekend, I'm excited to get him moving and see if I can relearn the class that got me addicted to this game in the first place. Lorkig is only 37 or 38, but his RR has been moving fast, and I've been able to successfully heal for a couple decent groups with my friends from Blessed Empire. I like both classes quite a bit, and I like having the options to fill up holes for any dungeons. Tuhb is already Greater Warded, and Lorkig is just missing 1 Greater Ward, so they'll be hitting Lost Vale and then ToVL quite a bit in the near future. Hopefully my RP will have more luck than Craythur on the DP boots!!

Is Korzak retired now? Hah, no such luck. I've still gotta get him in full Sovereign, and I've had the worst luck with the bags. I'm also working on my first Sovereign Weapon, the 2hander, and eventually get the 1hander and shield to go along with it. It looks like I'll need a second set of Sovereign armor after the next patch, too, just so I'll have access to both the offensive and defensive sets. I guess more importantly than all that crap though, I still find Korzak a ton of fun to play. The Dagger group was terrific tonight, even without the purple numbers, and we got alot of good kills in and had some really fantastic fights.

What's your next 80 going to be? I highly doubt that I'll be able to get another character to 80 before Mythic shuts the game down. Pretty pessimistic, huh? My plan is to spread my time out between my alts enough that it'll take me an age and a half to get any of them to 80. I guess the good thing about that is that I should be availible for alot of dungeon runs or tomb groups or whatever. Holler at me if you need to fill out a group for something, and I'll probably join up if I can.

-Korzak
